MIKE FARRIS & THE ROSELAND RHYTHM REVUE - www.mikefarrismusic.com

A born and bred southerner, Mike Farris has a unique style that combines elements of blues, rock and soul. His interpretations of traditional New Orleans Black Gospel mixed with a dash of Stax and Motown leave audiences feeling excited, delighted and loved. He won the Americana Music Association’s Award for New & Emerging artist in 2008 as well as the Gospel Music Association’s 2009 Award for Best Traditional Gospel album of the year. In 2010 he gathered some of Nashville's finest musicians—including Kenny Vaughan, Sam Bush and others—to record an ep called “The Night The Cumberland Came Alive” to benefit victims of the 1,000 year flood that hit Middle Tennessee that May. Mike and his powerhouse band The Roseland Rhythm Revue have wowed audiences all over the world. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his new studio album whose release is anticipated in early 2014.

The Wood Brothers

THE WOOD BROTHERS - www.thewoodbros.com

Two brothers decide to form a band, adapting the blues, folk and other roots music sounds they loved as kids into their own evocative sound—intertwining their voices in the sort of high‐lonesome harmony blend for which sibling singers are often renowned. While that’s perhaps not an unusual story, the Wood Brothers took a twisty path to their ultimate collaboration: they pursued separate projects for some15 years before joining forces.

Musically united at last, brothers Chris and Oliver Wood along with band mate Jano Rix combine soulful, Van Morrison-meets-Freddie King vocals with a gritty, nimble slide guitar, a jazz-inspired double bass and the rhythmic pulse of drums. This signature fusion of folk, blues, jazz and classic R&B has garnered attention and adoration from music-savvy audiences all over the nation.

THE MABLES - www.themablesband.com

Purveyors of the half-swank, The Mables have developed a fresh, signature sound perhaps best described as “roots infused with The Groove”, “Americana Funk” or “Psychedelic Folk.” Comprising the talents of Nathan Griffin on bass and lead vocals, Josh Preston on rhythm guitar and Ben Salley on drums and rhythm guitar--all divinely guided by “The Groove”--The Mables combine standout originals with reinterpretations of tunes from the likes of Mississippi John Hurt and W.C. Handy to the up-and-coming artists of today. As if drawing from the pages of some Ultimate Americana Songbook, The Mables span every musical era, reverently presenting their selections with an inventive, funky twist. Dancing is encouraged—and, you may find, irresistible.

CASEY WASNER - www.caseywasner.com

Self-taught, determined and passionate about creating music, Casey writes and records what he feels. Passing on a sports scholarship after high school, Casey moved to Nashville from Minnesota to try and find a gig playing drums. Working backstage stage for touring artists, Casey’s real-world musical education has afforded him with a glimpse into the life of touring professional musicians and what it takes to move a crowd, as well as, the types of songs that bridge the gap emotionally between artist and music lover. Today, Casey’s unique slant on melody and arrangements within his music has earned him the respect of the same musicians he grew up emulating—a privilege and acknowledgment he does not take lightly.

THE GRANNY WHITES - www.thegrannywhites.com

The Granny Whites…. A soulful group of musicians who make music from the depth of their being. With a steep root in jazz and folk, The Granny Whites also sprinkle in a dash of Americana to get your mountain self begging for more. The Granny Whites are a five member, all female band that bring the hot summers of Tennessee to your ears. With powerful, original lyrics and instrumental talents to match, The Granny Whites remind us that real music is still alive and well. Since their inception in early 2011, The Granny Whites have been performing in and around Nashville at several hotspots including 12 Lounge, That’s Cool, Mad Donnas, Give Me a Break Radio Hour, East Centric Brew HaHa and more! With a distinctive panache like no other, the combination of these musicians creates an intelligent and multilayered production. The genre of this band has no title and no boundaries. It exists only in their unique ability to add a twist of “Granny” to every song they perform.

ZIG ZAG MOJO - www.zigzagnashville.com

Over the past several years, Zig Zag has played the best of ’60s and ’70s rock and roll. In 2011, Zig Zag joined forces with Jonell Mosser to create a whole new bag: Zig Zag Mojo. Jonell has a voice that can belt like Janis Joplin but also convey the finesse of folk, jazz and Southern soul. She has also sung backup studio vocals for the likes of B.B. King, Trisha Yearwood, Etta James, Wynonna Judd, Rodney Crowell, Vince Gill, and many others. Rounding out the band is teaching artist and concert guru Steve West (rhythm guitar), drummer Ruben Gonzales (Peter Frampton), mysterious guitar wizard Lars Frederiksen, and newest member, all-star bass player and vocalist Joe Schneider.
